End Fossil Occupy Uganda

End Fossil: Occupy! Uganda is a grassroots youth movement of climate campaigners demanding for a fossil fuel phase out and a just transition for Africa. We believe that by ending fossil fuels, which is the root cause of the climate crisis, we will have mitigated climate change, the biggest threat to the planet.

Our main objectives are to firstly put pressure on world leaders and corporations to end the fossil fuel economy at a local and an international level.

Secondly, to put a clear demand to world leaders to take climate action that ensures a fair, equitable and just transition for Africa that ensures African grassroots communities are not left behind.

Thirdly, to push for equitable just and efficient climate action in Africa through grassroots led projects on sustainable solutions towards a greener economy.
